Heaven Gates is a discontinued linear tower defense prototype.
Heaven Gates is a tech demo only which will maybe build upon with another game. It was primarily build to provide ScriptLibraries for linear tower defense games as well as blueprints for customizable game UI.
It revolves around protecting the heaven gate from an demonic invasion.
Collect celestial energy to summon angels and sacred tools to prevent the demonic forces to reach heaven and inducing the end of all times.
Guide:
- Feathers generate celestial energy, always build them first
- Dark Angels are much more powerful than Holy Angels, but they have a limited range of 4 cells
- Red Demons can pass-through every defender despite Holy Books, place them accordingly
- Black Demons can attack 2 rows at once (same and row above), but can only be hit by Dark Angels of the upper row
The current features of this tech demo contains:
- 11 Progressive Levels, each including new enemy types and defenses
- Randomized attack waves in every level and mode
- Endless mode, for scoring maximum points
- Various Difficulties for more challenge
- Various game speeds to prevent tiring for more advances players
- High-scores for each level to match yourself and your friends
Nice-to-have features which perhaps will be implemented in the future for customizable script libraries:
